Mason...

I love this album. The energy it embodies is just
incredible. The last track has always stuck with me
through the years and is such an true message.

"Darkness Between The Butterflies"

I woke up before you in the total darkness
Early morning
I could hear the wind in the trees
I was looking for the light to bring you out
From the shadows
Redefine you now for only me
And honey i'm sure
That you've been in love before
Plenty of men have held high places in your eyes
And jealousy has got no use for me
The past is beautiful
Like the darkness between the fireflies
I was driving faster through the appalachians
I could see the world go out below me in the sun
You should know by now
That someone's always been there
Long before you
You're never going to be the only one
And honey i'm sure
That you've been in love before
Plenty of men have held high places in your eyes
But jealousy has got no use for me
The past is beautiful
Like the darkness between the fireflies
Beautiful like the darkness between the fireflies

Weekend Project...

My dad gave me three awesome solid wood doors.
I decided to turn two of them into tables and
put a new back door on my garage. This is going to be my art
table.

Seedling Update...

This grow light system is crazy cool...It's nuts
to think that is my whole garden!

Favorite Items Of The Day...

Went on a little cruise to SLC today. Stopped by R.E.I.
Love that store. I'm always looking for ways to reduce my impact on
mother earth. On the left is a set of reusable bamboo utensils. They
take the place of plastic ones. Such a fun idea, plus the case is made from
recycled plastic bags from India. Check em out,
www.to-goware.com

On the right is a new bike lock form a Aussie company
called Knog. I'm crazy about Knog! These
guys have such an eye for design and marketing.
So stoked on these purchases, plus i had a $12 credit
for being a member!

This is a great solid wood door that I'm going to
turn into a rad arts and farts and crafts table!
I cut some legs today for it and am going to make it flush
with concrete. Should be interesting.

Digital Paintings From The 80's...So Cool

Madness...

So I've been so busy this week. Losing my mind
from lack of free time. All my energy gets
cooped up and i start to lose it a bit. I did sneak in a
pottery attempt, the first one in at least
eight years. So much fun, there's nothing like it.

I scored this wheel off a buddy.

Lp's are a must have. Miles Davis- Bitches Brew.

I impressed myself, love doing that. Still so rusty but looking
forward to spending time back doing pottery.

Pottery & PBR, they go together great.

So Cool..

Tyler Warren is the man. One of my favorite artists.
I hope to own one of his signature "Bar Of Soap"
sufboards one day!

Weekend Fun...

What an excellent weekend! I got some much
needed projects started. Spent a lot of time on the man
cave and pottery wheel setup. I also spun some
records. I love records! The sound and feel of the albums
is unreal. There is something to be said about listening to
songs they way they were originally recorded. There is a energy
that old music has that a lot of today's lacks.
Here are the two favorites of yesterday.

T Rex- The Slider.. Side two is an essential listen. I must
have repeated it like 5 times.

I've been on a Kinks craze as of late, I love these
guys.

I'm so stoked to get going on the pottery wheel.
I'm so curious to see if i still have my skills.
